Default Soft Top cleaning

Aloha All,
I hope this is the right forum for this and not the technical section, but I have an issue with my wifes soft top. We recently shipped our cars from Hawaii to Virginia, and both made it with out any apparent physical damage. When we washed all the road crud off of her's we noticed some strange lines on the soft top. And we can't figure out what they could be. They don't have any scratch marks or anything and they aren't all the same length. We have tried to scrub them with plain water, and have tried a very small spot with some gentle detergent (We know not to use soap on the soft top) and that didn't take them out either. Any help that you guys can offer (you all have helped in the past more than any Stealership ever has) would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a photo of the top, and I hope you can tell what we are looking at from them. Thanks

Kevin
