Default Claybar Question (not addressed in FAQ)

Hermione has a few rock chips on her nose. Would we do touch-up after the claybar but before the wax?

That sounds about right to me. The claybar will get all the crap out of the crevices, which is good. You definitely don't want to wax before putting the touch up paint on since you could get wax stuck in those crevices, which would defeat the whole purpose of claying. However, I would wait a little while before waxing where you apply the touch up paint just to make sure it dries all the way.

Good, I'm on the right track. We'll probably do it on a Saturday and garage her overnight. Thanks!

KittenPoker:

If you do touch up your car, give it a week or so before waxing just so the paint will harden completely (especially in this weather). If you notice, it will be soft for the first day or so... just a few more days will allow it to bond propertly too
