My car was REALLY REALLY dirty with lots of bugs/butterflies splattered from the "invasion" we had here in south texas a while back.
So against my better judgement, I used one of those brushes at the drive-in car wash. It looked great when I was done, but now I've got little scratches that show in certain light all over.. GRRR! Anyone have any suggestions for brushes that I can carry in the car that I can use that WON'T scratch it up? I can't carry around my bucket/sponge/detail kit etc anymore with kiddo and all his stuff, and I usually do car washes when I stumble upon some extra time (meaning I never plan them ahead of time). So what can I do to remedy the situation. ![]()

One of the best things to have handy to remove bugs and things from the front of your car is dryer sheets! They get a little soggy with soap and water, but they take off the bugs without scratching your paint. We have a bad love-bug problem here in Florida, so I keep them in my car-wash kit.
