I use Raggtop om my cloth top. Raggtop also has a vinyl top cleaner. Check out their website. It is possible to find Raggtop cleaners at local auto parts stores. Call around your area to find out.
You might also call a dealership in your area and find out what they recommend. You may be able to purchase cleaning products from the dealership's parts department, also. But remember, they are not known as "stealerships" because of their low profit margins on stuff. However, I have found they are not out of line on vehicle non-specific stuff like cleaners.

I guess its time to use this, last night it was raining hard and I had a couple of drips on me. Who online has the best price?

I felt like 4 drips on me, it was pouring. Unless the drips came from somewhere else, but when I got out, the top was soaked and wasn't beading the water.

It came from somewhere else, I'm certain of it. I 3M-d my top in early '04, so it's been 3 years, it rains here all the time plus I run it thru a car wash once a week. Never had a drop come thru the roof.

You run it thru a carwash once a week?!? I didn't think I was supposed to do that... can I? It would make my life a lot easier in the winter!!!

Everything I've ever read says that a car wash is an absolute no-no for a VW top.

Ok wait, are we talking about the high pressure spray washes, the DIY ones? 'Cuz I already do that... I meant the touchless ones that u drive thru - the full-service ones... do u take yours thru there?

Sweet - I may have to give that a shot... during the winter it's just not practical to hand wash all the time! And besides, I can't get to my undercarriage!

That's the other reason and I'm at the beach. BTW, I also hand wash it myself almost every week.
