Default Cleaning the DashBoard?

What would you say is the best way to clean your dashboard? I need to find something that doesn't leave a ton of dust particles and leaves it looking clean w/out any streaks!

I've heard a couple ways.

For dust - a dry Swiffer pulls the dust out of the textured dash.

I've even heard of some people cleaning with Baby Wipes...unscented and no lotion.

For stubborn cleaning I will use water from a squirt bottle and dry with a terry cloth towel, followed up with a swiffer.

I use Armor All cleaning wipes. Then I buff off the excess with a microfiber towel, which don't leave any lint.

x2^

Works well on door panels and vinyl seats as well. For quick cleans a california duster (any autoparts) works well. You might have to follow the ArmorAll wipes (yellow/white bottle) with a paper or shop towel to prevent streaking, but it leaves it looking nice.

The California Duster Dash Cleaner works great! Just kinda big and bulky to have hanging around in your car.

Most effective use, although not the safest method, is to roll down the driver side (or passenger side) window 1/2 inch to create a nice vacuum for the dust. Then while driving along a nice quiet road, dust away. then, after you have gotten all of the dust, give the duster a few quick shakes next to the open window so any loose dust gets sucked out of the car. Then drive for a few more miles with the window cracked to get any more out.

Try not to do this on a sub-zero, or rainy day.

FYI, helps to have the vent open (aka recirc button off) or on a low setting to aid in airflow out the window.

HUH?!

This what I do. I use a coupla Armor-All cleaning wipes, then let it dry, then I go over everything with with an Armor-All formula wipe, then I let that dry. I then go back over everything with a slightly damp clean cloth. Everything is really black, like new, but not shiny. For every day care, I use a microfiber towel, which I keep stuffed by the side of the passenger seat by the center console.

This is the result:

I also use Armour All cleaning wipes (NOT the yellow/black bottle, the PURPLE bottle). I find that the yellow/black bottle leaves everything too glossy and greasy where-as the purple bottle cleaning wipes work wonders, smell good, and don't leave things all shiny and greasy. I also keep a small Swiffer duster in my car at all times for the daily dusting

You need to use some sort of moisturizer/protectant on the plastics if you want that 'as new' look. The Armor-all cleaning wipes, or soap and water, will dry it out too much. Like I said above, after it dries, I just take a damp wash cloth and go over everything, then, I forgot to mention, I take a clean, dry wash cloth and buff any swirls. The results speak for themselves.
