Default Doors looking pretty bad =(

This is what my doors look like. Not good at all, seems like who ever had it before me didn't take much care of it. I want to fix it but have no idea how to..

OMG! That poor bug! *Cry* ... I would try and see if you can find a wrecked bug and swap out all the interior! I hope you can fix it.

It actually to me ... looks like they left their windows open in a really bad rain storm and it messed up the glue.

I hope this is not one of those 'flood cars' that have been floating around after Katrina....

That is the first Beetle I have seen with cellulite skinned door panels.

The only flooded cars I have seen after Katrina where when I was on my way home from Mississippi VW Show in 06 ... two preschool vans from the Ninth Ward were being towed back toward New Orleans, watermarks were about 4 feet up.

To the OP .... eBay is your friend if you can't find some here. Get some with the painted top part, instead of the rubber paint like you have.

Mate, I think you didn't get any good response except stupid jokes. Wonder what forum this is?
Sure it doesn't help, but I also do have bad doors in my Millenium Cup Beetle, which is well looked after and think it's a Heat & Humidity problem. The VW plastic coating is crap!I live in UAE and summer is 50 Grade Celsius for 4 month! Did you get any reasonable help somewhere from? ... I do want to restore my baby to look like it does from outside!Pls let me know of any good resources.

that's going to be the cheapest way... anything you find is going to be in better shape then what you have...

An upholstery shop should be able to fix the leather/vinyl just fine. The door handle thing will need to be sanded and re-painted.

you can get door pannels pretty much anywhere... try car-part.com! thats where i found my wheels. I know i know im telling everyone about this site but you look up what you are looking for and they find junk yards in the US that lists that part for sale! Its pretty cheap usually! you can find a lot of good stuff. I would honestly just look into replacing the door pannels and if you cant do it your self your local dealer can do it! its totally worth it!

www.aavtrim.com

This is my boyfriends uncle in Sunrise, Florida.. he could definitely fix all of that. I'll talk to him tonight and see if he'll give you some kind of deal on it.

He'd probably have to order a new piece for the top of your door cause it's so badly scratched but he could definitely fix the door panels. How are your seats and stuff?

Edit: Umm... I just noticed this was from June of last year.
