Default Cleaning Tips???

Ok. I think I must be doing something wrong here. I feel so stupid. Everytime I use cleaner to clean my windows, it's streaks galore. I hate it. Can someone tell me what the problem is here? I use window cleaner. I'm not sure if I need auto car window cleaner because right now I'm using Glass Plus. But I figure glass is glass.

And, does anyone have some good general cleaning tips for the outside and inside of a black Beetle?? I just got a new 2007 and I want to keep it clean and shiny. What about the winter time?? Is there any thing special that I should do to keep her looking her best?? I desperately want to keep that new car by doing anything I have to.

Thanks, y'all!

For the inside of the windows I use Windex Auto and coffee filters. Newspaper also works good for this but can be messier on your hands. Coffee filters are an old trick I learned from my father who's been showing his corvette for 10+ years. Sounds crazy but it works.

For winter waxing, all the guys around here use Collonite Insulator wax:

It lasts forever and will protect your paint all winter. It coats well too, just put a coat on one day, buff off an hour later and then repeat the next day, it'll layer better if you let it cure overnight before putting the second coat on.

For good weather I use Zymol leaner wax with Meguiars NXT Tech Wax over top. Amazing shine, especially on dark colours.

Stoners glass cleaner. It's the best.

As far as exterior cleaning...god, I could talk forever about that. Basically, don't take it to a carwash, and remember that everything that touches the paint can hurt it, so be careful!
