So yesterday I break out the power washer, suds, brush, and give it a full wash. Probably the third or fourth time I have actually hit it with a brush.. Usually I just suds it down and power wash it, similar to the touchless carwashes and keep the brush contact to a minimum..

So an hour later, engine compartment and everything I park it out on the street clear from any tree branches.. Japanese beetle problem in our yard.. and sure enought, almost like they made the rear VW an aerial target.. Bird **** right on the rear hatch...

Can't even go 4 hours with a nice clean car...

i just washed curby the other night and within 12 hours, giant splat of purply-blue crap on the hood. never fails. also, i park under a tree.
