Lightbulb Turbo S Pedals

Hi all -

Just wondering if anyone had any advice on products to help keep the dirt and grime off of my Turbo S pedals? Or at least something I can use to clean them on a regular basis...

Poor Lady drives about 400-500 miles/week, and a good bit of it is in heavy traffic, so the pedals are getting tired of my feet.

Thanks in advance,
dana

My pedal gets alot of abuse also. Two items will be your friend. "Greenies" also known as Scotch Brite pads are great for getting off bad stains or scratches. Since it's bare metal you really can't hurt it too badly. Also, Grease Lightning is awesome to get any stubborn gunk off. Usually i find that anything wet cleans it pretty well. Don't forget, it comes off so you can clean it really well.

I just use Windex, gets 'em super squeaky clean, i.e. sticky, not slippery.

hi there, i own a turbo s, audi TT pedals are very easy to clean. all you need for any type of stainless or aluminum is good ol degreaser. windex has amonia which can penetrate the pores from in out, ever wonder why windex is making your pedals sticky? if windex (it's basically blue amonia) eats things, ya know the ugly purple tint jobs cars have, well, they not done purple, they turn purple from amonia, hence windex.....um, KEEP AWAY FROM YOUR BEAUTIFUL CAR! period. scotch brite is a form of abrasive material and not good for basic cleaning, you'll ruin the surface by opening up the pores of your pedals so "things" can get into them and make it harder and harder for you to clean. use degreaser. get some at hardware store in spray bottles or jugs, buckets whatever. if it's a concentrate than mix it with water and the ratio should be to your liking, more concentrate the stronger it'll be of course. it is also good for cleaning your wheels, chassis, engine bay, etc. thanks for reading

Yes, I know, I want them to be sticky. The degreaser is a good idea tho.

BTW, had 'em for 4 years, still look like new, not 'blue'.
