Default Vinylex versus Back to Black

Hi everyone. New to the site/ forum.

I used Mothers Back to Black for years before I found Vinylex by Lexol about two years ago.

My experience with B2B is that it discolors after repeated use and does not fully restore badly faded/ oxidized plastic and rubber surfaces. Vinylex does a better job at both.

I use Vinylex. But I have to point out your post looks like an ad.

Good luck, and go contribute more.

I have no experience w/ B2B to match your comparison.

I have no such negative experience with BackToBlack.
In fact, I've been using it over and over on my 10yo antenna base and it hasn't caused any 'discolortation.'
It keeps it the correct color.

Does anyone know if either of these products (or something else for that matter) would help make my mudflaps looks better? They look absolutely TERRIBLE...and it really sucks when my car is all clean and sparkly and I put tire shine on the tires...it makes them stand out even more

they should both make your mudflaps look better.
Vinylex is more of a cleaner; Back2Black is more of a coloring agent.

I'd try V first.

I like Black Wow. Works great. It's hard to get off paint though so you'll want to mask with tape first. It's not cheap but a little goes a long way.

Back2Black
Just remember: layer on the coats, let it dry in between.
I was using 3-5 coats in the winter and it lasted for about a month (keep in mind where I am, and it was the worst winter ever!)

Back To Black is junk. The best product I have used so far is Meguiars Trim Detailer. I bought a bottle 2 months ago and I haven't had to reapply since!

Not on the list but I've used Forever Black for years and haven't found anything better. What I like most is that it comes in a shoe polish application type bottle with a fine edge to the application head. No need to worry about getting the stuff on the paint.
