Question Floor Mat removal?

I'm trying to remove my floor mats so I can stick them in some trashbags to keep them clean until I get some monster mats...but...I can't figure out how to remove them!? The car is a 2002 Turbo S with the round retention clips.

Just pull?!?

It's actually pretty simple... Don't be afraid to break something. And if you are - just put your index and your middle finger of one hand under the mat around the knob on the floor and then use the other hand to pull the mat out. This way you won't even risk breaking anything at all...

As you can tell yes, I'm super afraid of breaking something. I gave it a little tug and it wouldn't come up, so I figured there was more to it. I'll try that! (carefully)...thanks alot.
