Default how often do you clean?

I was just wondering how often you all clean out your beetle?

I WAS washing pretty much every two weeks when the dirt seemd to gather on the outside...however now I seem to be going longer without needing a wash..except for when it gets bird plop on it...or I make a trip up island and it get's coverd in dead bugs..who had the misfortune to meet their end upon my windshield.

But the inside..depending on how much energy I have(haha) I tend to do once a week..sometimes I slack ..but I like my rubber Tinkerbell matt's washed and clean. I also like to vacuum all the dirt and rocks that come in.
While I'm doing this I tend to notice the small thing's, such as dust on the dash board and any drips around the cup holder.

I tend to clean /vaucum my beetle more then my floor in my bedroom!!

I clean mine less now that I've owned him for over three years. I still take pretty good care of my Beetle, but it depends on a lot of things as to how often I clean him. I tend to clean more in the spring/summer/fall for obviously reasons. I also tend to clean more when I've got more money. Ever since I bought a house, I've paid less attention to my car, but I think that's normal.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Washing the Bug varies for me. If it's really dirty, and I'm not too pooped from working, then I will get around to taking it through a touchless wash about 2-3 times a week. If I am just not up to it, it's like once a week, maybe once every 2 weeks. I also live in a house where it's all new construction, so the car gets pretty dirty, quick.
As far as cleaning the inside...well, I wipe down the dash & around the shifter while the automatic wash is going. But vacuuming...eh...that doesn't happen often. I do that maybe once a month.
I think I have only handwashed the Bug twice. But, I've only owned it for a little over a month!

i do an exterior wash at least once a week - try to do at least once a week with elbow grease. all other exterior washes are done at the diy station - i won't let anyone else do it.

i dust the car with my california brush at least once a day unless it's raining.

interior stays pretty well cleaned since i refuse to open any food or drink other than a water bottle in the car. i dust the dash and interior parts about every other day (i don't really put the windows down either).

Well unfortunately I don't have a garage and have to park most of the time in my disgusting half-paved driveway under trees that house some angry birds, and the occasional large falling branch that dents our rooves like no other.

So I don't wash it unless the forecast is sunny for a long time, otherwise it's really not worth it.

As for the interior, I keep it pretty clean. But with Cloth, it gets pretty dusty.

I used to wash & detail him alot more before I got this second job. Now it's about twice a month. With the bug season upon me it'll be more often. Interior is pretty beat so he doesn't get the beauty treatments too often. The leather is holding up pretty well except for the one seam on the drivers seat. For being a 200+ k car I'm not complaining

Well, I try to keep Bicho as cleas as possible. But my husband has to take credit for this one He hand washes Bicho at least once every 2 weeks. If possible every week. He also details and puts wax on Bicho at least once a month =) As for the interior, that I do. Bicho is garage kept but here in Arizona with those crazy monsoons it get's really dusty pretty fast 2 weeks ago it was nice and sunny so my husband decided to wash his car, about 3 hours after he washed it, wind started blowing and it started raining so hard even hail came down!! And after a few hours it was nice and sunny again, like nothing had happened at all! Needless to say, his car ended up worse than before the wash

Here's a pic of that day:

I wash at least once a week during nice weather. Less often in the winter, I wait until it's going to be above freezing and rinse the salt and sand off. The interior gets quick wipe downs a couple times a week especially when the top has been down. I vacuum every 10 days or so and detail about once a month during the warm weather.

I wash my NB every week, and have only detailed her once so far...though I only got her on April 15th of this year. She spends equal time indoors in the garage and outside in the driveway depending on what I need to drive.

Funny...I have a few other vehicles, and I tend to spend more time and pay closer attention when cleaning the Beetle.

I don't wash often. I'm at school 9 months of the year and don't have the time or space there. And I don't have the money to go to the DIY place in town often enough. I just do it when I'm at home. And until the last couple months, we were under water restrictions so we couldn't wash cars. I wash her maybe once every couple months But down here in NC, pollen is bad. I don't wash her until pollen is done because I am just OCD and would get upset washing her, only for her to be dusted yellow the following day. I do have a method to my madness. I just don't have the time or money to wash her a lot. But one day I will!

I wash mine about every other week...Ive had her for 2 months but she got a wax last weekend...my thing is when water spots get on the car from sprinklers so i have to park in front of the neighbors who dont use sprinklers...she gets too dirty to do it every week and its been warm here lately plus i spend too much time and half of her dries before i get to it but yea the inside i do it when i notice the dust getting on it and omg the wind keeps blowing pollen so im not too concerned about cleanliness till the pollen dies down

I wash an NB every weekend, so I get to mine every third week or so. Actually this weekend I washed two vehicles; Highliter and my Ford Explorer, to include shampooing the interior carpet and floor mats; after work I plan to wax it. I get to the Explorer once every 3-4 months. It is not driven very much.

I have had my bug for a little over a week and hand wipe messes from water. I must just be real picky I often aggravate myself because I'm to picky. So long story short I found a weird scratch or smudge and also on my mirror. Please tell me I'm not the only one like this. Is there ANYONE who has a perfect bug.

I wash Doodlebug whenever my nephew or wife can help me out. She is garage kept and I don't drive her but 2 or 3 times a week. I did have to drive her in the rain the other day and got some minor dirt on her. I love the detail cleaner that I am using, it works wonders! I use my california duster quite often on the inside too. Before I had the neck problem, I cleaned my car every week, now it is when I can get help. I never take her to an automatic wash.

I don't clean as often as a should. But when I purchased my Beetle I had intentions of repainting it from day one. In a few weeks when it's done I'll wash on a daily basis!

I have the luxury of working at Blue Beacon truck wash so I get my beetle washed at least once a week with the works. Rain X, Citrus, Brightner, the whole sha-bang.
Sadly, the inside doesn't get cleaned as often. =[ But atleast once a month. Tomorrow I am actually going to. Very exciting.
