i am looking for car seat covers for the bug. does anyone know of a good company that i can either purchase online or go to a store and buy some seat covers?

same here the link above doesnt work any ideas for seat covers except for the wetokole seatcovers that are wayyy expensive?

Exactly... I don't mind spending some $$ for a quality product but $240+ per seat is outrageous. There has to be something out there cheaper than the wetokole version but better than the $50-per-complete-set versions.

just a word for the wise, the owners manual for the NB says not to use seat coveres if your car is equipped with side airbags in the seat, (most NB's are)it will not allow them to inflate properly in the event of an accident

That's why it's best to go with airbag compatible seat covers. I got mine from TVA www.aiwana.com for $75 for a pair and they have a hole for the airbag. The last time I checked they didn't carry them any more.
