Default Tree Sap problem

My cousin borrowed my car and when he returned it, I found tree sap on it. It's hardened a bit and I haven't began trying to take it off because I don't want to damage my paint. Any recommendations?

Goo gone to get the sap off. Rubbing Alcohol to get the goo gone off.

Or Goof Off.

They work good on adhesives, might work just as well on tree sap.

What noR said, and I'd recommend against lending the bug out again

Turtle Wax bug and tar remover from you local auto parts stores. Follow the instructions on the back of the bottle, works well.
