I love them! I have had them in both my NBs and will when I get another one! They hold like a quart of snow, water and stuff that won't end up in your carpet. Plus they do look great! I love the NB insignia on them as well!

Don't know how I made it this far without them. They are great! Keep an eye out in the classifieds here they pop up every now and then.

I opted for the VW OEM rubber mats instead, and I've liked them really well. Probably not as sturdy as the monster mats, but certainly easier on the wallet (I think I got mine on partsbin.com.

Do it. The version I rock in the GTI is in a honeycomb pattern (like the grill), gets a lot of positive comments by new passengers.

The other NBs run the normal version, definitely worth the cash.

I love my rubber mats that have the new beetle patten in the rubber, like the new gti's have the honeycomb in it. You can't get them anymore, and i'm gonna hold on to my set, hopefully forever.

Sure, they'll fit. Only difference is the mat retention clips. 2004.5-2007 has locking ovals, 2007+ has posts (in the same style as 2001/2-2004), while 1998-2001/2 have small posts. Change the clips in the mats and you're good to go.

I've had a set for 5 years now and I love em. My only problem is my retention clips on the floor in Elwood are broken off (prior to getting the mats) and I have no clue how to replace them.

Gosh I just got mine a few days ago and I love them! They are sooooo worth it. They are durable and I don't cringe everytime I get in the car because there are particles in the carpet to vac out. I got mine for $75 on Patrickaccessories.com. Just do it.
