Default my first great detailing

My first great detailing !!!

Using many tips and advices of Iain Brown from Finer Details in UK, Thanks Iain !
I decided to detail my car
Now my bug is 15 months old and 30 000 miles, it was time to manage a complete detailing to removes some swirls and scratches due to the intensive car wash.

Also, I purchased some materials and products as you can see below

First step

Meticulous hand car wash and wipe

Second step

Clay

Third step

Polishing

My brand new rotary machine !
Lake Country pads : White for polishing
Blue pad for finishing polish and glaze

Fourth step

Glaze application

Fifth and last step

Wax application

Unfortunately, I have not enough light in my garage to show some 50:50 pictures
Anyway, here some final pics :

And the last ones, bad sunny light, sorry I don't live under the Florida or California sunshine.
Northern east of France is not a very sunny countryside, otherwise it was around 6.00 pm when I shooted these pictures
all my apologises !

Thanks for reading
Greeting from France

Patrice

RATS I thought I was gonna get first in line

Man that is a stunning job you've done on Herbie. Buttercup is so in need of a detail job; a job which i'll be doing within the week. Thanks for the inspiration

Looks REALLY good! I don't have the time for 9 hours of cleaning though!

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Be sure guys I spend 9 hours only 2 times a year
and only 90 mn a weeks for normal maintenance, carwash, glaze
and wax apply !

Here, some pictures after 3 days and 300 miles later, just a quick detailer apply in a few minutes :
