Default Bissel Little Green Machine

I'm sure that many of you may never use a product like this, but I know that there are some of you out there who will. Today, I'm going to talk about this little gem:

This is the Bissell Little Green Machine with Pro Heat. It's used to shampoo carpets, treat spots, etc. I had heard a lot about this little bad boy so I picked up one this weekend for one of the details I was doing.

Many high end detail shops have very fancy (and expensive) carpet extractors that they use when they are detailing a car. I tend to do a lot of mobile work (yeah, I guess you could call flying to CA from UT to do a car mobile) so I wanted something that was small, and easy to carry. I picked this up from Target for around $90. And I am pleased to say that it did as well as the big fancy extractors that I have used at other detail shops!

This machine was great!! I picked up some of the Little Green Machine cleaner as well to give it a try.

Lemme describe this guy a little. There are two reservoirs, one for your dirty extracted water and one for your cleaner solution. And the cool thing is that it will actually heat the water/cleaning solution for you!! That's a big plus in the world of carpet cleaning. There are two brush attachments. One for stain cleaning and one with a rotating "turbo" brush for general cleaning. I used this only on the carpets in the Lexus I was doing, but it can also be used on cloth upholstery, cloth or fabric headliners, and even spots on your carpet in your house. There's only one catch on carpet in your house. This thing works so well, it might actually make your carpet in your house TOO clean. So you might end up with little REALLY clean spots. But a well maintained carpet that someone spilled something on, and BAM! This thing will knock it out.

this looks like a great device for our interiors. Especially that it seems like the only way you can clean our seats is if you clean them completely vs. spot cleaning; spot cleaning makes our seats look even dirtier. This holds true especially with our tan seats.

Thanks for sharing this cool doo dad

Yeah, I even used it for the headliner and it was a little awkward on that, but worked well!
