I've been told to treat the headliner like carpet. Get some carpet stain remover and clean it. Maybe even use a dry vac on it to suck out any remaining water in it. I have to do that with mine because it's all stained up from grease...not sure how though, but it is. Good luck. Let us know if that works.

Today it looks a lot better. It has dried and doesn't look like it stained.
I blotted it immediately after it happened with a paper towel. Which made the paper towel slightly yellow. Is that the glue? Ugh. I cant believe I did that ... lame. |

Yeah. It really sucked. I was in the Northfield area (I-70 and Quebec) getting a few paper products at Target ... sunny and 88* when I went in ... 1/2 hour later ... BAM! Thunder, lightning, rain and hail .... ugh.

Is it possible to have a sensor that closes the windows and roof when it rains? custom?

I somehow got a small lip gloss smudge on the headliner next to the visor. No idea how I did that... anyway I just sprayed a VERY small amount of resolve on the spot and then rubbed with a dry cloth. It came out. No signs it was ever there. I would not get really carried away with ANY product, so you don't get the headliner very wet. You might give it shot.

That is a good idea as well.
I do have a few spots and stuff on my headliner, not sure how they got there either since I dont ever touch it. I suppose when I have the windows and sun roof open it gets dirty.LOL @ at the lip gloss. I have a bit on my sun visor. :P Gotta get that off too! |
