Question What is the best car cover for NB?

I am looking for a outdoor cover for my NB. Are there any good ones out there besides the VW one?

The OEM cover is totally worth the money.

What is the difference between the convertible cover and the hardtop? Would it make much difference if I put a OEM convertible car cover on a hardtop NB?

I bought the OEM cover. Does anyone know if I can wash it? I would assume wash it on a gentle cycle with cool water. Does anyone have specific instructions?

Thanks!

My Wolf cover is due for a washing - I'll let you know what I figure out and if it's do-able. I'm thinking with the size it may require a trip to the laundromat...

I've washed my OEM cover in a regular washing machine for 2 years without problems. I wash it on cold using car wash soap instead of laundry detergent.

Thanks for such an obvious suggestion. Never thought of using a washing machine.

I washed mine in the machine with laundry detergent and a little dawn soap on cold. It didn't seem to get a lot of the grime off...but I think thats due to the cover being water repellant It seemed to get all the bird poop off though.
I had a harder time getting it dry...I put it in the dryer on the lowest heat...but the water just would not go away...so I put it out in the sun and that worked.

They have some decent ones from empire. their website has a computer generation tool so you can see what the cover looks like on and off the car pretty cool.
