Question What do you use to wash your NB?

I personally have always used Dawn dish soap to wash my cars, it seems to get through grease and dirt really well. What do all of you use? Are car washing soaps worth it? What is best?

The problem with dish soap is it cuts thru wax too. Only use it when you plan on re applying wax. I use most any wash with one of those sheepskin mitts.

As stated, Dawn is ONLY to be used when you're attempting to strip off the old wax, prior to putting on a new coat of wax.

It's very acidic and will eat right through your wax.

Otherwise, really, any soap specifically made for car washing, available at any auto store will be fine.

Please do. We don't want your paint to fade any more than it has too.

I use Maguiar's Gold Classic Wash & Shampoo. Seems to work well and is easy on the wax job.

Any dishwashing liquid will strip the wax off - not just Dawn. Except maybe Ivory.

I use Dawn when I'm going to wax. Otherwise, Meguiar's.
