Default "Chrome" trim strip around conv't top. Clearcoated?

Like the topic asks.

Mine is looking fairly dull and want to clean it up real nice.

Just not sure if I should be digging for the Nevr-Dull or polish it out like the paint.

Hi! I hated how the "chrome" strip around the car always looked spotted and dull. I was in Pepboys and found "Blue Magic's Metal Polish Cream" it states it was for "Chrome, Aluminum, and Mag Wheels" it was only $4.99 and I figured what the heck. I got home and tried it and was amazed how shiny and clean it got my trim. I am unsure if it is clearcoated but I know this stuff did an awesome job. Even my dad stated how much of a difference it made...
