I can't for the life of me figure the reasoning, but I've noticed many sellers here on the Org trying to sell something (tires, floormats, even a whole car), and not even bother to clean it before taking a photo. What are they thinking?

I don't even want to sell my car, but I don't let it get dirty...especially the interior. I certainly wouldn't take an interior photo of a mat full of dirt. I could offer photos to support this, but I don't want to offend the respective sellers.

Just a tip, though for sellers:
Buyers want to be under the illusion that they are buying something that at least looks fairly new, and well-cared for. A photo of something you intend to clean up later only hurts your sale.

Isn't it funny how a car seems to run better right after a wash...

Ever since I bought my NB I've been giving him washes as much as I can. Doesn't help that the weather has been crappy, but if there is a nice day above 40 degrees, I try to take my chance. I admit I need to vacuum the inside and wash my monster mats, but at least the exterior is nice

I expect a full detail on my NB soon, now that the weather is nice. Just need to find the time...getting too busy with things.

I agree with the photos of dirty things. Not a good way to sell items!

I agree! I don't get to wash Ernie like I used to the other two NBs I owned, but it's just because my health won't let me. I think I probably say this to my spousal unit at least once a week, I wish I could give Ernie a bath. I do sneak and vacuum her out some. But anyway, I do prefer to look at something clean
