Default Spring time cleaning.

So i'm pretty anal retentive about my car. I just want some thoughts on my "detailing" day I am going to do soon.

1) I want to remove the seats and shampoo and clean the floors. and also grease the tracks.

2) I need to clean my headliner, it's really dingy in spots. My friend said to try a magic eraser. What would you recommend?

3) I wanna clay bar my car, how many of those clay bars do you recommend getting?

4) would I wash my car after the clay bar process or just simply apply the polish?

5) I Plan on taking the wheels off and really power washing them as well. What will require the least amount of scrubbing?
Recommendations are greatly welcomed!

I read/heard that using unscented baby wipes work great! About two years ago I tried them ... and they seemed to work (from what I remember).

Zoomer needs a bath. While living the almost 2 years in apartments I couldn't hand wash him. (sounds naughty)... And now that I am at my parents place, my dad wont let me wash/wax Zoomer. Says he doesn't want his driveway dirty. LAME. ;(

wash
clay-even just 1 bar is probably ok, but from what I've seen most kits come with 2 (don't drop it!)
polish
wax

As for the rims. I'd maybe hit the insides, the tough grime with steel wool (SOMEONE TELL ME IF THIS IS A HORRIBLE IDEA PLEASE!!) and the prettier parts with a car wash mitt, then probably use some wheel cleaner on them after that.

For the clay bar I usually break off about 1/4 of the bar and just use that. Also if your planning on polishing, doing it by hand is VERY tiring. So take that into consideration and the fact that it will probably take longer than you expect. Also I just washed my wheels today and brushed off a little bit of the dirt on the inside and it came off pretty easily.

I'm a freak about keeping my car spotless.

I've got black carpet so all the sand, dirt, pollen, leaves, ect, stick out bad,so I vacuum her out at least once a week, sometimes two.

After I vacuum,I polish all the surfaces, clean everything from dash, knobs!panels,to the surfaces in the engine compartment, yes, everything, once a week.

Theeeen,I wash her with highly concentrated foamy wash, then I dry her off.

She's a 99 with 115k under the hood, and I have gotten so many comment on how new she looks and my favorite,"whaaaaat!,I thought it was brand new!!"..

Yeah,it happens.

I claybared the car what a PITA.

Then I applied some p24s wax that ecs sells for like $40

I used a magic eraser on the headliner and WOW worked perfect.
( I didn't take before an after pictures )

Go figure it snowed here yesterday and man my car got dirty already but oh well...
