Are you talking interior or exterior surfaces?

My answer for either would be the California Duster. The things are awesome.

Default Cleaning painted surfaces

Hi there1

I'm an auto detailer with a '65 VW Squareback and a '99 NB. This is how I treat both vehicles:

As a previous NB owner said , the California Duster is awesome. At the end of each day. I go over the car with the duster. Then, I use either Meguiars Quick Detail or Mother's Showtime. The Showtime product smells like cinnamon candy, which is a nice plus! Then I cover the car, as I don't have a garage. I keep a bottle of either product along with a roll of those blue paper towels in the trunk for mud splatters and bird droppings. Wax your NB quarterly and you are in business! Inside I use a Dash Duster for the HUGE dash, almost daily. Sound like a lot of work? Not really - I've got a clean car!

I just keep a microfiber cloth in my car to wipe down all the interior surfaces. Works great!

Seconded on the Meguiars quick detailer, love that stuff. I've also waxed my dash as it's painted and this stops anything really settling on it.

I wipe down pretty much everything with the microfiber. Just get a few of the big packs at harborfrieght
