Default Any ideas of how to clean the dashboard of the NBC???

I was cleaning our '06 NBC today, which we just got two weeks ago, and I noticed there were some tiny little white spots on the dash about the glovebox. It's the rough part of the dashboard. I've seen on this forum where people have said do not use anything but a soft microfiber cloth for the dash. It's just making me a little crazy that I can't get those spots off. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I've always used just plain old water. Works great. Just get a wet rag, wipe it all down, then wipe it again with a dry towel.

Never had a problem.

i generally just dry dust with a california duster, but once in a while it needs a good real cleaning, so i use a barely damp microfiber with a tiny bit of woolite.

Thanks for your help, guys. I appreciate it. I'll give it a shot with water and see what happens. It's really not very noticeable but of course I notice it!!

I just noticed that my dashboard has a coating and that the coating has gotten "soft" .. so soft that I just scratched with my finger nail while trying to disassemble it. Is this normal with age? .. or did someone use to much armor-all at some time?

It's not normal with age, it's normal for these cars, unfortunately. That's why we recommend using only a microfiber cloth or a california dash duster. Anything more WILL scratch the dash.

Meguiars speed detailer is brillaint for doing the dash and leaves it with a nice factory look finish. I use that stuff everywhere.
