Default Valeting and detailing Audi A3 2004, you can do the same with a NB

A few days ago, I cleaned and detailed an Audi A3 2.0 TDI 140 hp, this car belongs to a good mate of mine.
This car is 6 years old ( 2004) and it displays 150 000 km

Products used :
Super Degreaser by Meguiar's for alloys, arches and inner doors
shampoo Super Slick And Suds by Poorboy's World
Clay by Poorboy's World
Polish #83 by Meguiar's
Finishing polish #80 by Meguiar's
Glaze and sealant :Cleaner Fluid by Swissvax
Wax: Concorso by Swissvax
New look Trim Gel by Chemical Guys for tyres
Glasses cleaner by GS27

The car before to start

2 entire days needed to have a good job and a shiny car

Wednesday in the morning (8.30 am) I started with a good wash
then I clayed the car to eliminate a lot of contaminents.
In the same time, I degreased arches, alloys and inner doors with Super Degreaser by Meguiar's and brushes.
A second car wash was mandatory.
Well rinced and wiped

Polishing step
rotary machine, 800 rpm speed selected
Polish #83

Before to start,

Test on this aera, and now after polishing

And now, it's time to polish all the car
The picture below shows the difference with the polish

2nd polishing using Meguiar's #80, a good finishing polish and
and a good glaze as well.

First results, not too bad, aren't they ?

After, I removed all the polish dusts with brush and Ultimate Quick Detailer with microfibers

And the last before to apply glaze/sealent and the wax of course.

This is the same door panel seen on top !
Good award, but it could be better tomorrow !!!

Do you remember how was the car the day before ?

And now after working 2 days on !

This car is now finished and let see some reflection pictures just below !

another before/after picture

Thanks a lot for reading
Greetings from France
Patrice

Thumbs up detail of 2004 Audi A3

Nice job! After being a professional auto detailer for 20 years, I am prepared to say that with the number of products out there for detailing (there are thousands!) the result of your effort lies not in the brands of products you use, but your effort and know-how to do the job well. Everyone has a favorite product, or line of products. Yes, there are good products and lousy ones. But most of the result, I will say it again, is in the effort and know-how. Good job.

Thanks a lot for your very grateful message !!!
Great award for me when a professional like you say that is a good job. And you're right, whatever the products line you use, the most important is to learn how to use them.
Taking hundreds of chips and hints from professionals, it's always important to kwow tons of things before to do wrong.
After, you have to clean and detail your car with the heart and with passion.
For me, it's not my job, it's just a hobby.
Anyway, you have to respect the different steps and to do it quietly !
And now, it's easy to find very good products at any prices.
Meguiar's is a good example with their public range like Gold Class or NXT.
