Any good wheel cleaner that says for chrome on the jar or bottle should be fine. I use a very mild chrome cleaner on newer wheels and a chrome cleaner with some abrasive in it for chrome wheels that have been neglected or are older with some rust. You shouldn't have amy trouble finding a multitude of chrome cleaners at your auto parts store. Just a mention about steel wool. Steel wool is a staple in my kit for chrome. Only caution is matching the grade of the steel wool with the job you have. I have seen chrome wheels and trim ruined by using too heavy a grade. If you use it, it often makes the job easier. Just make sure it's fine or extra fine grade and not course. I'm just putting all this out there cuzz I cant 'see your car and what condition the wheels are in. Good luck!

salt + chrome = heartache

Chrome is durable and tough as long as you keep it away from salt... which you didn't.

like stated above, use any off the shelf wheel cleaner. Usually the ones for chrome are acidic. If there are some stubborn spots use 0000 steel wool. 0000 steel wool is very fine and should not damage the chrome as along as there is some cleaner or water there to lubricate the surface.

As for routine maintenance, window cleaner and a rag work AWESOME on chrome.

Good luck
Tom
