Default Denim Stain on Leather

I have tan colored seats and 99% of the time I wear dark colored jeans. Apparentlt over the last year or so my denim has dyed my beautiful leather seat blue. I read online how to combat this problem and I found a product called "Leather Master Super Remover" Anyone have any experience with this product or any other product? Anyone know how to get rid of the dye?

That's a tough one, girl. That is exactly what you have done, redyed the leather blue. I have experienced the same problem years back, and I'm sure we are not the only ones. TG it was vinyl, and I was able to scrub it out. Since then, I keep a towel on my light seats when I wear new jeans. Funny, I have never had the problem though with the neutral leather in my 'Burb.

Perhaps someone has found a solution and will come to your aid. You might stop by a trim shop or detail shop. These guys have tricks most laypeople never heard of.

I would be very careful with DIY products as you may actually "set" the dye, where now it may simply all be on or close to the surface and treatable.

LOL at "Night Ins"...Thats how I found out that rubbing alcohol removes permanent marker from leather.

I was having a party at my house and some chick decides to draw on her passed out BF w/ a Sharpie. Well, the BF decided to get up in the middle of the night and sleep on the light tan leather sofa I had just purchased.

Make a long story short...they had an option to find a way to safely remove the ink or fork over 3,600.

I got something that will work great! I will see you tomorrow and share with you.... I used it on my leather seats and made a world of difference. Something so simple you would not even think to use!!!

You're a lifesaver, Kerri. We'll fix all of her problems tomorrow...except maybe that "loose" turbo. I think that may be a bit over what we can do in her driveway. I'm bringing a bag of tools. We'll see. You guys be careful on the road tomorrow. Sounds like we may se a little rain.

woah. John and I posted at the exact same time! LOL. Dara and Ryan are going to try to switch ballasts out tonight so the headlight is still ready for install tomorrow. As for the turbo..... Sounds like an entire replacement is necessary. I wouldn't even want to attempt taht in my driveway. He goes in Monday.

I promise it will work! I worked on my very dirty leather seats. Do you have any DAWN dish soap (the plain kind with nothing in it)?

Do you think anyone will be there to maybe look at my sunroof too? It will vent but not open?

Sure I can share! You take a magic eraser and a little bit of DAWN dishsoap and gently rub in circles and voila the stain comes up. Worked great on my seats, difference between nite and day. All the stuff that comes up on that magic eraser is amazing!

I can tell you when i did the magic eraser thing it truly worked on my seats. I mean they look like new seats. i have the 2 tone leather and the gray was little to be desired. it was yellowing and looked horrible. then i did the magic gosh i was almost in tears it looked so good! i really does work and i hope i will be able to brinig her seats back to life....

Oh, and as for your sunroof... If our little Asian friend is able to come as planned, I bet he can figure it out. He's a genius!

Brad said to try just a touch of lacquer thinner on a rag and give er a rub. He said that should work.
