Talking Great Info

I just want to say thanks to everyone on here who are so knowledgeable about VW Beetle Convertibles. I have ordered my Raggtop cleaner and am planning on cleaning up "Buggie" this weekend if the weather holds out. Any specific thing I should know before attempting my very first convertible top conditioner and cleaning venture? Tips, etc.?

I will be sure to take some photos when I'm done and let you know how it goes.

Also thanks for the tips on how to change the headlight. I had a bulb out and we found the answers right here on how to get out the old light and install the new...you guys and gals are great on here.

Since this is my very first VW Beetle I'm quite green around the gills but you all know everything and anything VW Beetleish! lol Thanks again!!

I lost my NBC to my divorce (I get visitation... ) and yes, Raggtopp is the best thing out there to clean and protect your NBC top. Your NBC will thank you!

The package will tell you what to do before you use it. You will be glad you did it!

Thumbs up RaggTopp... PERFECT!

Here, from my favorite detailing source, www.autogeek.net is the "How to" page for all kinds of auto detailing chores, including a video of the proper way to clean and dress your convertible top, using the RaggTopp products (excellent choice by the way!).

How to's:
Auto Detailing Facts, auto detailing Tips, How to detailing Guides, how to polish, how to wax, DIY detailing, do it yourself guides

Vert top detailing video:
YouTube - ‪Mike Phillips demonstrates how to properly protect your canvas or vinyl convertible top.‬‏

Pay particular attention to the discussion about what type brush to use, complete dryness of top before applying protectant, addressing seams and stitching, and multiple applications of protectant.

Good luck, I don't think you will be disappointed.
