Default laundry detergent??

Okay, so I was transporting my laundry to the laundry mat and some of the laundry detergent leaked onto the backseat! It's a spot about the size of a half dollar. I tried to soak it up with a wet cloth but that didn't seem to work. Anybody have any ideas on this?

This happened to me, but in the trunk of another car I used to own. I don't know how well this might work for you with the "padding" the seat has, because mine was just in the carpet in the trunk.
Anyway, I used a Shop Vac and a spray bottle of water set to a stream, not the mist setting. Spray the spot with water until it is wet, (trying to keep the wet area localized so it doesn't spread everywhere), vacuum, and repeat until no more soap or bubbles.
Hope this helps.

Yah, just wetting and sucking up until the soap is extracted should be fine. A carpet cleaner might be a better choice than a shop vac, but shop vac will work.

About the only issue you might find after that is having one spot really really clean.

Thanks guys! I never thought to suck it up with the shop vac. I'll definately be trying this this weekend
