They have Armor All leather wipes and then wipes for the rest of the stuff - plastics. I havent gotten it all over my clothes; that I have noticed anyway. However, it does wear off the seats ... like you missed spots. I would rather use Meguiar's - you wipe it off after you apply it. :P And it looks a TON better. Like natural leather instead of a shiny polished look.

I used Armor All on my toneau cover on my pickup, and needless to say, it destroyed the fabric. It became very brittle, and not flexable. It now has patches of the black vinyl missing with the backing material showing.

Anyone considering Armor All as a product, do some research first. I know I'm not the only one with a bad experience.

REALLY!? that stinks ...
I dont really like the stuff. I bought it thinking it was going to be good... it bites. The dash gets clean with hte 'plastic wipes' (cant remember what htey are called) but, there are streaks after wards. 0_o
And ... the leather is shiny. POOOO ICK!

I have used the Volkswagen spray cleaner and the lotion. While it is a pain in the butt to apply (lotion), I like the results. It is very shiny at first, but fades after a few days. I like how everyone compliments the look and feel of the leather after I do it. It's funny to watch them slide all over the seat, too!!

I use windex wipes, formely windex and paper towels, to do most of the cleaning in my vehicles. It seems to work good on all surfaces and even the VW leatherette. I too am looking for something that isn't a product of VW $$$, or a product of look at our SHINNY stuff. Till then I will just continue to use plain old windex for the tough stuff and water on rag for the easy stuff.
