LOL... I saw it too. No, I'm not kidding! I just didn't write anything because I didn't think anyone else would notice it and I wasn't sure if it wsa a place that was popular in other places and just not California. LOL!

We all must totally be on the same wave length! There must be some weird Bermuda-like Triangle thing going on between AZ, CO, and CA... LOL!!

Hi Bree and Niki! You guys always make me smile.

Here's Daisy next to a yellow 98 outside Old Navy and Bed Bath and Beyond. I was so excited I had my camera! Sorry it's blurry and it's dark.

I parked today in a small Wells Fargo/Starbucks/bread bakery lot and when I came out of the bank, a silver NB was next to Daisy!! WOOHOO! Then I happened to look over and about 10 spaces away was another silver NB. I didn't have any org tags, so I wrote a note for the one next to Daisy and stuck it under the wiper. I pull out and about 5 spaces the other way is a reflex yellow!! A very good beetle day. No waves though - that's ok. Later I was waiting at a light and an older guy driving a red one makes a turn. I got a good look at him as he went by and I swear he looked like Albert Einstein! His hair looked like he hadn't combed it in awhile. That gave me a good laugh!

I didn't park next to a sad looking Black one yesterday at the Winn-Dixie .... it didn't have any wheelcovers on it and there was a spot closer to the door. Besides, didn't want to make it jealous of my Brake Dust covered almost black now Long Beaches. I will have to get some NB.ORG cards made up for when I see these, I usually leave a eClubVW card for them, but I don't think too many Beetle owners like the average age there and don't stay or signup, and I am still one of the few NB's there, and also one of the oldest members too.

Is there artwork already out their for NewBeetle.Org business cards.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

While visiting family in Tampa Fl. during Thanksgiving we stoped at a Best Buy and parked next to 3 Geek Squad NBs
which I thought was pretty cool ! I'm not sure if Geek Squad is a service owned by Best Buy or what, maybe someone can fill me in? Lil` Blue

Thanks, I guess I'm the GEEK! I still think it was picture worthy, but I had a gut feeling, they all worked there or something I never leave home without my camera

This is what the parking lot at the small school I teach at looks like. The sad little Saturn at the end used to be mine. How could I resist the peer pressure? When my finace was at the dealer to order his GTI just a few weeks ago, I retired my old Saturn and traded her for a very gently used new beetle of my own. I can't wait to add greenie to the line when the break is over! I think we should have special reserved beetle parking.

You're naming your nb Greenie? AWESOME!! I like that name. You've got to get the others at your school to join the org. Who knows, you all could get a get together (GTG) going. Heck, with just the cars in your parking lot, you've got a get together

And Welcome to the org. Glad you're here. please don't be a stranger. You've definately got to keep posting. with all the other beetle owners at your work, i'm sure you'll have lots of stuff to share with us.

Welcome and happy new year

I definately park next to other Beetles given the opportunity. Something i have noticed about NB drivers here in Central New York, no one waves, or even seems to look. I had one time where an older woman pulled up to me at a stoplight in her NB and smiled, and one other young woman on the highway that smiled as she left the highway in her NB, but no other waves or looks or anything. Bah humbug on my beetle spirit!

when ever I go to Michaels (the craft store for all you sickos ) I always see either a blue or a red bug. My best friend thinks Im crazy for always parking next to other bugs and my dad has started to realize I can tell what year a certain bug is.

If that is a good picture of your TS, it's Platinum Gray Metallic, not silver. It looks just like my former S! (below)

Lucky! Three in a row!
