My new bettle should be arriving at the adoption agency this week. They said, 09/11 or 09/12 so I hope to hear from them tomorrow. Hope to be driving the little guy very soon! Now I have to figure out a name....
Will post pics as soon as I get him.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Thanks guys!! Well it has actually been 3 months since I ordered the little guy. Took delivery last night and he is resting comfortably in the grage at home. Will not drive him till I know the insurance stuff is all done, etc. Will try to take come pic's this evening in his "stock" form. First mod... window tinting!! I must say, I have not been this excited about a car in a long time. Good to finally get the little dude and get him home!!!

We are fraternal twins! I have the same car with XM. Your id implies a native Texan and the 58 - what does that imply - born in 58 perhaps? Enjoy the car!

I tried to join about a month ago but never got an email to let me know what my password was?

Figured I had to "have" the car first before joining.

Yes, it is.
Sorry for no pics yet. I will try to get them done this evening or tomorrow. I washed the little guy all up yesterday when I got home from work so he is all clean and shiny. I put his TDI badge on also, want him to feel proud he is a TDI car, not just another gasser. Now I have to find some place that does a good job on window tinting! Anyone around the Dallas - Ft. Worth TX. area with experience with that, please let me know.

Best in the DFW area. They do all the beetles for Metro VW too. I had mine done with a lifetime warranty for $220 about 3 months ago. Make sure you tell them you want the one piece done on the hatch....
