Random fun!
Well, not a day has gone by where someone has not commented Evilina. I'll be driving to and from work and people just decide to honk, wave, thumbs up anything to get my attention to let me know how much they love her. I think it's cool and all but sometimes odd.
We finished having lunch the other day and a woman in a minivan decided to tell me that Evilina is the CUTEST CAR EVER!  I told her Thank you and continued on my way but she couldn't stop commenting her. I was on the way to the mall yesterday and a group of peeps in an SUV kept honking at me and finally they pulled up next to me to ask who did my interior painting. Every drive-thru (insert name of fastfood/coffee house here)I've been through someone has commented on her. Is it just Evilina or does everyone get this RANDOM attention?

Marvin gets alot of attention also.
However - I don't think I have ever been presented with the "C-word" Mostly it's "nice car", "I like your car", "did you do all that work"... Mainly around other car folks or drive thru's. I think I drive around with the same scowl on my face as Marvin so I don't get too many honks.

I get it a few times a month at drive thru's. Always a young girl who tells me how much she loves my car and she wants one so bad and it's her dream car. I always tell them to save some money because it was my dream car too and now I have one!
 But I don't get people that honnk or follow me... only when I cut them off!!

If I go through a fast food drive thru the tennage girls almost always tell me that they "love" my car and its cute.
About a month back I went to visit my son where he goes to college and we wnet through the Starbucks drive thru; the young lady at the window expressed her attraction for NB's and mine was her favorite color, so she "loves" my car. Currently she drive a restored 70's vintage Mini and with them 10-12 mini bike tires it looked interesting. She would love to have a Beetle, if she cold afford one.

the drive home after i got my stripes, i got a "great looking car" from som guy in a pickup but thats pritty much it, oh but there is this cream colored new beetle that also has black sripes, gives me the peace sign every time she sees me, i am goin to tag her and try to get her on the org with all us new beetle owners, i herd from a friend that she goes to my rival school, but i might just have to put my school spirit asside for just a little bit. but for now GO PHS VIKINGS!!!!

I get attention, but mainly from older hippies. Probably because my license plate is FlwrPwer and I have the daisy taillight covers. It always makes me smile and I love it!!!!
Then again, I love attention. I'm an attention-seeker which is probably why I gravitated towards the car in the first place. Hey...I can admit it!!!

I love people telling me that they like my car
I was just about to get into my car when I heard a voice asking me about the trunk and a women was sitting in the car behind me. So I told her I would show it to her and she was shocked that it wasnt as small as she thought. So I spent I think ten minutes telling her about it and what I love about it and everything. She wanted a vert with a manual so I told her what alot of people have said on here about how good the manual is on these little cars and I told her to go check out a dealership (shameless plug on mine) to look at the verts and the trunk space on them. who knows maybe she is driving a vert now =D. I forget to give to tell her about the org though

I've gotten a smile from a Harley rider and a "HEy! Nice stripes!" from a Busch Gardens parking lot attendant. Hermione's pretty noticable!
