After looking at the pics again, the Ranger is a year or two newer than mine, same color, same wheels.

I'd never had it replaced, and as far as I know, neither did the previous owner, because it still said VW in the corner.

OMG - so scary, so sad, and so lucky. Bl**dy 4x4 drivers think they own the road, whoever was at fault. Hope you get another NB eventually - although nothing replaces a lost 'friend' I guess.

I love that piece of animation you used to show how the accident occured. What is it and how did you make up that animated piece?

Made the layers in Photoshop and animated them using ImageReady. Both by Adobe.
