Default Had quite a N.B. experience today!

Notice the change in my avatar? Well, we drove an '03 metallic grey N.B. Turbo S today and it was such an exhilerating experience that we bought the car! Goes like a bat outta you know where! Very quick with that 180 h.p., 20 V, turbo engine. One prior owner, 23K miles. Looks just like the one that Debbie had and recently traded in on her new Passat. Consider it our "Dream Car."

Oh, man. Every time I see stuff like this, I hope it was mine. I pray that mine goes to a loving Org member.

Have fun. I did!

Hey Deb, the pic of yours looks EXACTLY like the one I now have in my garage (since yesterday): a virtual clone. Mine's an '03 but I don't think that there was ANY difference between the '02 and '03 Turbo S's.

The only difference may be mirror blinkers on the '03.

Are we gonna see you at the annual GTG?

I've noticed that some '03s have the mirror blinkers and others don't. Mine doesn't. An '04 I test drove up in Poulsbo had 'em, but it was Reflex Silver, and we prefer the Platinum Grey so passed on that one. Pics? Maybe later to day or in the near future.

The GTG? Would sure like to make it this year. Keep us posted on it.

(P.S.: I hope I didn't break your heart by passing on yours, but this one was so much closer to where we live...)

mine is a later 2003 Turbo S and mine have the mirror blinkers. Earlier 2003's didn't have them...they were a mid-year upgrade. Also the 2003's have the solid headrests while the 2002's still had the donut ones. basically those are the only differences. oh yeah and the center armrest changed too to fit the 6 disc changer in the armrest. FYI

Default Luv it! Luv it! Luv it!

Just love drivin' my "new" Turbo S! What a kick-in-the-butt! Great car. Looks like VW really upped the quality, too, when they built this one, or is that just because it was a top-of-the line model for those years?

Awesome. The first NB that advised me to come to the darkside was a Platinum Gray one. I ended up with a Reflex Silver one, but it was the one that had all the options I wanted and in a price range I wanted

Nice car! Very nice. I'm sure I would have been satisfied with one like it, too. I like that idea of the CD changer in the console, and the wheels are very nice also.
