Default My Daisy shirts

I operate 3 embroidery machines at work, so we get to embroider for ourselves and friends/family. I've been wanting to embroider Daisy's name on a couple shirts for my mom and I when we go to GTGs. I got this idea from Dede and Rob at the Round Up last year. So finally I chose a T shirt color(royal blue to match Daisy), we got it in, I digitized my design with help from a coworker and I sewed it!! YAY!

Here's a pic. The shirt is really a bright blue, just like blue lagoon.

I embroidered the shirts this month because I'm not sure when I'm leaving this job. I wish I had a portable machine because I could sew shirts for all the Beetlers at GTGs. One of our wholesale suppliers sells Gildan T shirts and they have every single shade of every color you can think of. My mom has a Daisy shirt like mine.

Daisy can be dainty but usually she's a tough little mama!! She is pretty of course! My coworker Holly thought to make all the letters lowercase. She's an artist so she thinks of little details like that. Me, I draw stick figures. Thanks for the kind words. I will have my mom take a pic of me with the shirt and Daisy tomorrow.

Find an embroidery shop in your area. Some will only let you embroider what you order from them, like we do. There's a chance of the shop making a mistake while embroidering it and they can reorder easily if it's their apparel. They will probably charge you a 'digitizing fee', which covers the time it takes to make your design 'sewable'. We usually charge $30-40, but for a little design like mine, we would probably charge less. If you already have a design in mind, you can email it, fax it, snail mail it or hand deliver. Like I said, our wholesalers have thousands of shirts available and you can pick from lots of different colors. My shirt is a Gildan, which is average on the quality scale. I ordered a ladies cut so it looks a little nicer. Hanes and Fruit of the Loom are our best T shirt brands, but they didn't have 'royal blue' in a ladies.

Sorry for the essay - but if you want personalized shirts, you can order them fairly easily. Dede and Rob have red shirts with little peppers.
