Default 10k miles on a '98 NB

This lady at work has the cleanest 98 I have seen. Today we parked next to each other on the way in, so I asked if she lives next to a carwash because her car is spotless all of the time. She said its because it only has 10K miles on it. She bought it last year with only 6500 miles on the odometer. I was shocked at hearing this. I told it probably is one of the lowest mileage '98 bugs out there. What a find. If i found a 6k mileage '98 I just may have to buy that thing.

I don't think I'd buy a 98 due to the problems people had with them.

But, such a low mileage 98 with no warranty that hasn't had the myriad of classic 98 problems repaired yet???.. I don't think I'd buy it to save my life.

That beats mine!

I bought Poppy in March 2005 with just 18K on her--------no regrets and ZIPPO problems with her.

My Ringo's a 98 with 106k (we are jealous at the thought of 10k!!)on him and since nobody seems like to '98's Ringo is pulled up in the crner of the driveway, crying his big bug eyes out.
