My 1999 2.0 made it to 300,000 miles today The head has never been off and the car recently passed California's smog test.

He said it's a 2.0 so that makes it even more special! Wowzers. The only other cars I've know personally that did that were my dad's old Chevy Luv and his 1996 Geo Metro.

Here's to many more miles!

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

I just gave the car an oil and filter change. Tomorrow I will change out the fuel filter and air filter. I will also give it a wash and post up a picture or two

Which interestingly are both Japanese (Metro built by Suzuki and the LUV built by Isuzu).

I am hoping for 300,000 out of the 2.0L as well. Should hit 100,000 in the next few weeks.

Good job. Can't get anywhere close to that mark without doing something right.

There has been no work done to the actual motor itself. The starter is original as is the fuel pump and power steering pump, but the battery, alternator, a/c compressor, water pump, transmission, etc have all been replaced at least once!

I have done oil changes at every 5k miles. Used Mobil 1 synthetic for the first 250k miles and Chevron Delo synthetic for the last 50k. I burn about 1 quart of oil every 2,500-3,000 miles.

The suspension has basically been rebuilt once with new shocks and struts, ball joints, and bushings.

I'm the original owner and the car has never been in an accident.
