My wife and I play a game (even with our adult kids). Everytime everywhere when we see a Bug we have to be the first to poke the other(s). One poke for a New Beetle and 2 for an Air cool.

Today no luck on our way to work - none seen...

Early this month we were in Bradenton Florida and there was a lot of Bugs. My wife was complaining that because I am driving I had a better view of the roads and to all the cars. So to please her I wanted to change the rules: Beetles for her and Pick-up for me. She never agreed complaining she would finish the day with too many poke marks...

She so in the game that once walking alone she poked herself...

81 but I did wake up this morning in Minnesota and drive to Chicago. But since Friday I've seen a total of 291 New Beetles. Don't ask for colours. Those got lost somewhere in Wyoming...along with the memory of Wyoming in general.

Just arrived in Chicago, Illinois from Laughlin, Nevada taking 15 to i90 to 94.

Just wanted to share, I saw the prettiest beetle in Flagler today, all shiny and gorgeous. It was pink/green chromaflair and oh, was it shiny. It made me grin and wave like a ninny as I turned left in front of it. So if you own that car and saw a goofy school bus driver waving at you.... yeah that was me, hehe.

And then not even 5 seconds after that turn, there goes a pretty dark blue one... the weather might be muggy as anything, but the beetles are out today!

The kids on my bus have started a new game. Every morning they play "punchbus" and every afternoon they change it to Punchbuggy. They have some sharp little eyes too, in an hour and a half we counted 15 or so beetles, and one was a red convertible identified enthusiastically with only the barest sliver showing between a huge dump truck and an SUV. We had to wait for the light to change to verify her claim.

I personally love it because they point out cars I'd miss otherwise, including two for sale at a Ford dealership. It makes me so happy to see the yellow one up on a rotating pedestal.

We saw 8 today.

Seen seven beetles today, a blue one, an orange one, a red one, a white one with W3 on the fender? and a silver one at the dealer and two yellow ones parked as I was walking home from the dealer....

i saw a yellow one, and a cream colored one and a dark blue one at a dealership and the other day a black one followed me.

Saw this beetle the other day!! At the stop lightI honked at him to roll down his window and he opened his door instead. He commented my beetle and then I said I liked his and then I asked if he was on newbeetle.org. He had no clue what I was talking about Anywho, maybe he'll come onboard soon!

Today was a beautiful day in Knoxville with temps up to the 60's and loads of sunshine. Maybe that's why there were a ton of beetles out! I saw NB's in the following colors:
Red
Silver
Mellow yellow
Bright yellow
Silver turbo 'vert
Aquarius blue 'vert (I almost wrecked looking at that one-lol)
Classic black (sorry don't know what year)
And a 2012 silver
