How many other Beetles did you see today?

I'm curious if others notice and count the other beetles on the road like I do. Just this morning this is what I saw...

3 Silver (one turbo, two 2.0)
1 Harvest Moon Vert
1 Black Turbo S
1 Red Vert
2 Cyber Greens
1 Techno Blue
1 Triple White Vert

I haven't gone out yet so I'll post here tonight. I have noticed that if I'm driving the Trooper I see a heck of alot more than when I'm in Chip

I have only driven to work today....about 10 miles, I saw another mellow yellow NBC, a silver and a salsa red. I see them every morning on the drive in.

I never really counted but I do see NBs consistently while I'm out and about. In my area the most common colors are red, blue and silver, and yellow for the tin tops. Harvest Moon and dark blue seem to the popular colors for the verts. The rarest are black and white. The greens and oranges fall in the middle.

saw the standard four pulling into the parking lot at work, two red 'uns, a silver, and mine.

didn't see any on the way in. raining too darned hard.

Oddly enough, I only passed two today on my trip to the salvage yard which spanned a grand total of 160 miles. One was blue and the other, which passed me as I was gassing up was black, like mine. Passed a 1970's something parked in front of a house on VA-231 (Fort Valley Road).

I carabugged today! I was following a red vert for about 1/2 an hour on the tollway today. Also I saw a Riviera and a Satellite blue and a yellow and a black one. I'd say it was a good beetle day

That is an excellent Beetle day!! I drove JB today and I saw a Triple White, 2 Silver, 1 Yellow and I think one of those weird purple colored ones. It was kinda ugly. I still waved though!!!

Yesterday on my way home this is what I saw... I swear there must be more bugs around here than other places.

Yesterday, on my way home I was cut off by a battered and mangeled Silver Arrow. Dumb bug abuser! He preceded to weave his way through the other cars, and it became pretty obvious how his beetle got so beaten.

However, just before I got to my house, I saw a rare and illusive Reflex Yellow!

I went back out, and immediately drove past a Batik Blue...Lovely color, dirty buggy.

On my 10 minute drive to my boyfriend's show, I also saw a yellow, a red, and 2 Cyber greens.

On the way back I saw another red and an Aquarius blue vert.

I see on average about 10 beetles a day. maybe i should make flyers and and leave them on all the NewBeetles i see in town... WE ALL SHOULD DO THAT! then we'd get more members!

emi, we do have .org tags to leave on other people's cars. i've tried, but i've not gotten one person to visit the .org so i gave up.

i see about 4-7 beetles a day if i'm out and about. not nearly enough.

I was only out for a bout an hour today, and half that time was inside of the shops I went to, yet I still saw a Harvest hardtop, 2 silver Turbo Ss at the same intersection!, 2 others, in colors I can't remember right now, and a red one I often see parked near the grocery store.

Emi, I write about the .org on the back of some tags that were made for the VW Club of Tulsa, and have talked to a few owners about the website, but like Erin I've had no response. I still do it, though!

I saw dozens today, Turbos, convertibles, '98's and custom colored business ones, and one of those "Mountain Dew" colored ones that I can never remember the color name.....

But, none of them saw us, as my ex and I were in the Passat going to our sons football game.
