.. could someone post some pics?

I have been watching this thread, but being of no experience in these matters I think some pics would help a lot.

Having said that, we've been doing it for 3.5 years now with mine, and it is pretty limited for extra haulage - strollers are the really small fold-up kind with no bells and whistles, and if it doesn't fit in the diaper bag beyond that, it isn't coming with us!

The wife's minivan is sure a lot bigger and stores a lot more (insert colourfully-embellished plural noun here) but I kinda like travelling lightly in the NB where possible. Saves fuel and I know we can't buy a lot if we should find need to go shopping
what brand seat do u have or which one works the best? pix are cool too

My laptop has been down for a week and I just now am getting back to this thread...I thought I had posted all my baby seat images in another thread, but cannot find it...so here you go.

Both the carrier and the seat are Graco...don't know the exact model, but they are mid line...not their most expensive nor cheapest model.

You can see for the 1st 6 months (until 1 year old) the rear facing is the most restrictive for the passenger. I think my wife might have ridden only once or twice, we normally took the other car when all 3 of us went somewhere.
The carrier wasn't as bad, a passenger did fit more comfortably with it installed.

We've been using 2 car seats in the back: a forward facing and booster seat. Kids are 2 and 4. Only nit is having to have the front seats up a bit so that the kid's feet and legs have room and don't get squashed when the seat comes back to normal position. Younger kids would probably not have that issue. If I were taller, that would be a real pain.

i'm 6'3" and looking forward for baby but not for baby to be in beetle.. wouldn't be so bad if the car was an automatic but hitting the clutch is going to take some getting used to being that close to the steering wheel

.. this should be a sticky ... or an admin could merge all these car seat threads as one THEN make it a sticky..

.. just a thought.
