Default So I was driving today...

I saw a beetle ahead of me with aftermarket looking tail lights.. I had to try and catch up, maybe I could get a wave? I get closer and see there was a personalized plate. I was straining tp read it.. " 'btlmnia'? omg!!! Beetlemania!! That's Jacob!"

So I finally met him today.. kind of.

Pretty much the best day ever.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Wow what a nice surprise! Jacob and Paul!

I think someone told a similar story - 2 orgers having a chance meeting - but I forgot who it was.

That is SOooo Cool! He is a really nice guy. I have not had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but I swapped Monster Mat clips with him. He was GREAT!

I wasn't able to make it Eureka Springs last year. That's one show I really wanted to go to but couldn't due to my crappy work schedule. I was at the Tulsa VW show last year and will be back again this year. This coming weekend I'll be at the Junebug Jamboree in Springfield, MO. Will you be there? I would love to meet you guys and your gorgeous Lily.

Friday and Saturday? We have our club meeting Saturday but I suppose I could play hookie to make a road trip. I'll have to wait until a bit closer to know for sure. My wife is having a bad round with rheumatiod arthritis but she says if she's better by the end of the week she would give it a go. Would be a nice warm up trip before Roswell.

I will let you know if we're coming up.
