I am a 21 year old male i drive a 1999 2.0 5 speed manual. I got it because it was cheeper on gas than my 2000 wrangler ( tho i still have it) it started that way but it has turned into a way of life. I love it and love driving it. People make fun of me but i dont care.

I got it to replace my minivan cause I've always wanted a Beetle. I have to say, I love it and I might, for the rest of my life, drive a Beetle. My 8 1/2 yr old called dibs on it when she begins to drive.

I'm a 28 year old female and I bought my first Beetle, a Red Rock, almost a year and one month ago. It's my second car... my first was a Hyundai Tiburon and I literally cried when it died. I'd had it for 10 years. But I always knew if/when it ever kicked the can I wanted me a bug. I love how little and compact they are. And of course I have fond memories of the punch buggy game so it's endeared the car to me.

Sadly, I've not been able to spot anyone punching the crap out of each other as I drive by LOL
