Yup! I picked one up the other day when I dropped Farrah off for service. I was gonna scan it to the org but I am on a business trip right now (so no access to scanner)

Ghey. Had VW kept the Beetle around they could have left it as PunchBuggy like it should be.

Yes, I know...it's really sort of silly for VW to act like anybody ever punched anybody in the arm after seeing a Jetta, a CC, a Routan, or a Tiguan...

Q: Ever punched someone in the arm after seeing a VW drive by?
A: Sure, but not after seeing one of these!

Angry

am i the only one who was seriously angry when they heard about this!!!!?????!!!! Y would they steal this game from us!! it is sooo not a every vw game! It completely ruins the novelty of it and it was one of the things that made our bugs unique and special! Whats even worse is that the webisite has all this "history" of the game and dosent even mention the fact that it was ever a bug only game. it just acts like it never existed! Ive been like seriously wanting to write to company or somthing. bad enought they are getting rid of us, do they have to steal parts of our legacy and rewite history as if we never existed? i just think its wrong and they are ruining something truly beetle by giving it to every other vw on the market.

Well said, and yes it really sucks that they did this. I just hope that this ad campaign is short-lived and people forget (since it's not catchy anyway) and return to their PunchBuggy ways.

The hard copy manual does give credit to the new beetle as "THE ORIGINAL: the one that started it all" lol

I agree with all of you, they should have left it as punch bug or slug bug ...or whatever.

I have a friend that works for a VW dealership here in Denver. I asked him, if he would pick up one of these PunchDub manuals for me. He said sure, and then asked if I wanted the foam brass knuckles that it comes with too? I thought he was joking, but he was totally serious. So, he grabbed me a set of knuckles too. How COOL is that?? VW really is KING in the advertising world. You definitely have to hand it to 'em.

If nothing else, it will be an AWESOME collectors item.

Not sure, you may have to ask for 'em. I really have no idea, but my buddy that works for Tynan's VW knew about it.
It would be worth a shot to ask.

I agree, PunchDub is stupid!!! It's always been Slug Bug or Punch Bug and it should stay that way FOREVER!!! Hopefully this passes soon and people go back to the original game
