Personally, I think the AUdi TT looks like a Beetle that's been stepped on.
It's sad to see your Beetle all smashed up like that. It's the same colour as mine, which is scarred and battered from life on the French roads, a venerable representative of his race since he's a 1999 model. Our first Beetle, which was red, got totalled on a motorway when the guy overtaking us fell asleep. We ended up with the front end crushed, front axle broken, and back end smashed in (we spun and hit the crash barrier twice, once each end). But we walked away unharmed. They're good cars, and I hope you find another to accompany you on the next few years' worth of roads. |

Once again, I want to thank you all for your kindness after the loss of my Bug. It meant a lot to me, it truly did.
I now have a beautiful black Beetle, and you can all see her here: Chaz1138's Y2k, Black GLS "Black Beauty" |

Geez ... I did not know the .org had a classified section. In the meantime, I got a new Bug :~)
You can see her here: Chaz1138's Y2k, Black GLS "Black Beauty" Although, 6k wasn't enough for a new (used) Bug most places here in NY. I got lucky and found Beauty for $5500 + tax & registration, but every other Bug in NY was selling for $8k or above. And forget about staying in the family but getting a Passat or an Audi. |
