Default Rims for Fiona :-D

So I found these at Pepboys, I really like them and I think Fiona might also

what do you think??

I would be getting 16's to replace my steelies so they would probably be around $70 each I am guessing since the 14's are $50

I personally don't like thick spokes...but that's just me. I like to see through the wheel, see the rotor, see the caliper (painted or not), and all that. But that wheel would look cool on Fiona .

Now...also in my opinion. I think Fiona would be HOT in some white wheels.....like these.....

Sadly these are costly rims, but you get the idea.
check the link on tirerack and click "view on vehicle" and you can make it a cyber green new beetle...and let me say....white looks good!!!

Do what YOU like. Not what other people tell you

It's always important to do what you like first. Doesn't matter what anyone else likes about it (or dislikes).

She asked what we thought, I'm just saying I don't like them. Obviously do what makes you happy, that's without saying, but I think you could do a lot better. Try Vortex classifieds, there's always a steal on there somewhere.

This is true. I suppose people should get more into the mode of saying " I'm going with these, I like them. " instead of saying "I like these, but what do you think."

It's kind of silly to do something for your car based on what OTHER people think of it visually, because you might not like it when you do.

Get the wheels you like. I don't like either of those wheels but it is your car, like evanrude said, and you should go with what makes you happy.

Okay well yea of course I will do what I wanna do, just figured I would get some other opinions, thats all, I wasn't basing my decision on what other people thought, guess I should have worded it differently oh well, after seeing the photoshop I don't really think they would look good on her

Also, I am not a member of the vortex but I will look at their classifieds and see if I can find anything, thanks for the tip Gina

You could also check tirerack. They had a good sale going on the last time i checked, but i'm not sure about now. They have a lot of nice rims and you can see them on your car before you buy.

Do pepboys rims last a long time? I mean are they quality?

That would be my main concern. I think theyre cute though. Round like the car

Vortex has a LOT of wheel deals. They have a whole classified section for 5x100 bolt pattern. Sadly some of them are really tore up or WAY over priced! So, just gotta pick and choose. But I would use tire rack to browse through some rims and "see them on your car" so you can get an idea. I mean, I thought those wheels would look good on Fiona, but after that photoshop, they are....ok. So, it really helps to see them on the car before making a decision. Good luck. I'm looking forward to seeing what is planned for Fiona though!

Daisybug you are right that is a major thing to look for and I am not sure about that actually but I agree with you

I forgot about tirerack thanks CJ

Michelle I thought the exact same thing, they just didnt look right once the photoshop was done, unfortunately I do not have photoshop so I will have to bug someone when I find some that I like and thank you I hope I can find some and give her a little more umph ya know?? I plan on tinting my windows hopefully next week or the week after since it will be 2 years since I got her by then. I am hoping that works out

Also, one reason I went to Pepboys is because they arent that expensive, hopefully tirerack has good prices

Yeah, I second checking the vortex, they have wheel classifieds seperated by bolt pattern (you want 5x100 obviously), but i would also look in your regional section. Theres always FS and WTB/WTT threads and there's usually some good local-ish deals to be had too. That's where i found my new 16's really cheap.

Yeah uh the 1st wheels honestly look like standard utility truck wheels to me =/ I doubt they'll look better on the bug, but I could be wrong. Your choice. The 2nd ones you posted are wayyyyyy nicer :>
