Default Spring, mods are in the air

Yay! I am so happy Spring has sprung and the days are getting warmer and the snow is melting. I have decided to keep my baby white and I'm gonna baby pink her out (my fav color) So, I ordered my TB/WP kit from ECS this morning along with some fun stuff (I didn't know they had fun stuff) I got a bud vase which for some reason she didn't have a pink daisy vw logo key chain and a plush pink daisy. I found a very cool baby pink vinyl, so I am gonna make her a new shift boot (excited about this) But, the first, and most important right now, is a through BATH lol inside and out. What do you have planned for your baby this spring?

At least one of three things:

-Fog Lights from ECS tuning.
-Suspension ( Eibach pro spring kit)
- and Wheels.

Hoping for at least suspension and wheels before H20i in September... Been going through vwvortex's classifieds for wheels and so far there have been a few good finds, but waiting for something within my budget and/or something not that long of a drive

(stares at the growing pile of parts in the living room)..

  • Votex front bumper (will shave the corner turns)...
  • Votex rear bumper ....
  • Votex rear diffusers (two of them, one with cutout for exhaust, one without)
Not sure which I'll use first... but I'll probably use the diffuser with no cutouts, and start modifying to get my exhaust split into two pipes and pass them through the rear bumper and relocate the backup lights.

  • Back seat delete + custom hardwood floor + hidden sub install + locking storage bins + .......
  • Stock cluster surround + metal gauge cup + wiring + epoxy + Glowshift Electroluminescent boost gauge.. (hm.. wonder where this is going? )
  • Stock airbox + pile of various pvc parts and epoxy + K&N X-Streme filter (Hmm.. possibly another custom mod on the way? )
  • Custom Painted Bernt 3-gauge pod + Glowshift Electroluminescent Oil pressure, Water temperature, Volt meter...
  • New stock hood + various steel scraps + some... stuff......... (hmmmmm)
  • 10mm H&R Spacers (Just installed! Yaay!)

Most of the stuff I've managed to gather on the cheap here and there, like, the new stock hoods are going for $29 from VW right now! Woot! Other bits I've collected over a couple years. It's just time to do something about them!

If I can find a job and some money for the summer....

  • Tint
  • Wheels
  • Spoiler of some kind...
Probably need to start off with selling my Pioneer amplifier, Fosgate P2 subwoofer and the MTX Thunderform box it's in that was designed for the Beetle. Then I can do my floor!
