My first NB was a 2000 Baltic Blue GLX that my wife was driving at the time when we met, in 07. It was a good car till it lost the transmission. Put a used trans in it and drove it about two more years. Sold it to buy a TS. The TS I got last spring around my birthday.

Deposit was placed in March, 1996. We picked up "Key Lime" (our '98) on September 3, 1998. Still running strong (knock on wood) with just shy of 89,000 miles.

I found Probie on July 7th, 2007 spent all day at the dealer to walk home empty and go to work. Got a call shortly there after, turns out I was accepted, sadly I couldn't go back and take him home because I didn't have a Georgia Driver's License yet and I had to go to work. So I rushed and got a Georgia drivers license and brought him home July 9th, 2007. Longest weekend of my ENTIRE life...

He was my dream beetle from when I was a kid. TDI, automatic, sunroof, monsoon sound system...perks were the heated leather seats....and I wasn't dead set on any color and silver is perfect. He had 56,000 miles when I got him...and we're going on 3 years and he now proudly wears 143,000 miles! He's made SUCH a transformation since then....

You could say that it was love at first sight; I picked up mine (Valdez) on February 14th, 1998...

The wife (Dear) got hers as an anniversary gift, belated as it was on August 29th 2003.

My oldest got his (HiLiter) on April 5th, 2008 and I picked up my second (Cowboy) one on April 20th, 2009.

And I'm still in the market for one more, just waiting until I get Cowboy up and running.

We got our "Bailey" on March 1, 2010. So she is 4 weeks old today. She had 29 miles on her, now has 1,000. This is our first VW car. We are very happy with it and we both love to drive it.
