We just picked up our Bug on March 29, 2010!! It's really my wife's car and she's named it Kay's Bug. I know I'll be driving it a lot myself!! It's a 2006 NBC in Harvest Moon. Enjoy!!!

The '00 in September 1999, sold it in June/July 2007.

The '03 in February 2003, still have.

The '05 in May 2005, turned in May 2009 (leased).

And for what it's worth, my '07 GTI in April 2007, still have.

I owned Violet for one week and two days!!!! She only had 12 miles on her coming off the show room floor and now she has well over 400.

03 NBC in Aquarius Blue bought the 1st day of release 1/17/03. Didn't intend to buy since we're diehard aircoolers but drove off the lot 3 hours later. Manchester VW; NH.

Now I wanted one so in comes an 01 Sport in Reflex Silver. Chipped, exhaust, coilovers, 19's...you get the idea. That was April 03. In March 04 along comes and original 63km 1986 Vanagon double cab and the rest is history. NH antique tag "DOKA".

By July the 03 NBC was giving us fits with all sorts of gremlins and honestly the top was beginning to look 5 years old after 6 months. I didn't have the warm fuzzies about the long term so in July 03 the vert was traded for a new 03 TurboS. Again, coilovers, chip, exhaust & 19" Moda R6's. By August 04 we moved from NH to Naples Florida selling off our aircooled collection Our former aircooled collection
During a kitchen remodel we found a deal we just couldn't pass up. In 05 Chrysler was starting to offer employee pricing. In the spring of 05 we traded the TurboS + $560 in cash for a brand new Hemi Ram pick up. And we thought our relationship with the little round car was over. Enter hurricane Wilma and a subsequent move to Aiken, SC.

Here I am comfortable with my 04 Chrysler Sebring LXi convertible. Small, tasteful fin, 18's and super tunage wrapped in white with beige leather. My wife ALWAYS hated that car. Made her feel "old". One day our daughter was home when my wife got home from work. It was a glorious South Carolina day so she WAS driving the Sebring vert. She stated she felt "old" driving that car. Our daughter stated "ma, you are old".....well, that was it for the Sebring. I wasn't sure what I wanted but was given orders to do something. Along comes our current 98 Neuspeed supercharged nB. Pretty much done up but the wheels still gag me. The owner is willing to swap title for title so I bite and June 08 the deal was done. Not sure if I want to keep it. Put it on Craigslist once in a while. Maybe only cause I want to see the kinds of e-mails I get If I keep an nB in the family I DO want another 1.8T. Anyone want a nice early 98?

NOTE: The silver Sport and TurboS pics were at a Yankee Candle Shop GTG in Deerfield Ct. We drove the TS and friends drove the Sport The NBC pics were a few days after we got it home. Probably the 20th or so, January 03. Less than 1K miles and a month later the H&R coilovers were installed with a set of 18" Kaiser wheels that got swapped to the TurboS with the coilovers when we traded it in. Subsequent wheels bought here on the Org were a set of 19" Moda R6's as seen in the Florida pic. The 19's on the Silver Sport were PriVat Fahrens and looked awesome on that car. Unfortunately someone else liked them too as they were stolen off the car right in my driveway. Pics of the Sport up on blocks sans wheels were posted on the old Org.

My 2007 New Beetle Convertible was purchased October 31, 2007 from Suntrup Volkswagen via the Internet sight unseen. I took delivery on November 3, 2007. During the time that I have owned my NBC, it has been one of the most reliable cars that I have owned and with 35,000 miles no unusual repairs have been needed -- just regularly scheduled maintenance.

I have had my beetle since the summer before 11th grade (2004)! that makes it 6 years this summer! I love my beetle! She has been in one big accident with me (the winter after i got it I think), one small accident with my ex boyfriend (that was in no way the reason we broke up) and a few tiny bump ups that didn't really affect it lol. It is a 2002 beetle so its 8 years old, I still get plenty of compliments on her though.

I picked up LadyBug 7-31-09. I didn't start driving her until 8-14-09. I got her with 92,500 miles on her and right now I'm at 113,500. I've had good luck with her and have put about $800 in repairs. I only have $2300 total into her and 21,000 miles.
